During the pandemic, I was having issues finding a mask that I liked the look of, and was also comfortable to wear for a long period of time. So, I made the logical next step and bought a sewing machine and learned how to make my own. I liked them so much I started to give them to friends, and they all loved them so much I decided to start selling them. Only using the highest quality fabrics I can get my hands on and complete with my own logo patch, this was the start of my sewing side hustle.
Some features:
Two layers of fabric with an internal pocket for swappable filters
Fully adjustable elastic ear bands
Machine washable
I got my hands on a pair of old Carhartt overalls and deconstructed them to repurpose for masks. One complete with the Carhartt logo and plaid liner, the others complete with my logo.
I also have been using Rit dyes to small batch dye different fabrics.
Different fabrics I’ve been offering for sale. Ranges from Japanese/Italian cotton, linen, polyester, vintage bandanas, vintage military mailbag canvas, whatever I can get my hands on.
